In 2015, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) provided a comprehensive plan for a sustainable world by 2030. However, progress is not happening fast enough, and we urgently need to increase our collective abilities to face and work effectively with complex challenges.

This is why the Inner Development Goals (IDG) was co-created. It is a non profit, open-source initiative committed to fostering inner development towards sustainable futures.

The Inner Development goals simplify a complex field of inner development into a framework that helps to integrate, understand, develop and communicate the inner skills needed for sustainable development.

The IDGs believe there is a pressing need to increase our collective abilities to face and effectively work with complex challenges.

And without a foundational shift in human values and leadership capacities, external solutions to our global challenges may be limited, too short or short-lived.

This is why we are co-creating the Inner Development Goals Framework - and essential roadmap that can assist us in navigating and developing our inner lives to catalyse outer change.
